NCGG9 - Call for papers and sessions

Participants interested in presenting a paper or poster on any of the mentioned themes and topics are invited to e-mail an abstract in English of 200 to 250 words to:

New deadline: January 15th, 2023

Abstracts should be received by January 15th, 2023. Early submission of abstracts is encouraged.

Please provide a title and the name(s) of the author(s) and their affiliations. The text body should contain a problem definition, a brief indication of the research or implementation methods, main results and conclusions.

Authors of selected papers will be asked to prepare a digital copy.

Parallel sessions

We also welcome suggestions for parallel sessions of 3 to 6 presentations. If you are interested in chairing and organizing a session around a specific theme related to NCGG9, please contact Arjan Hensen at nesneh.najra.[antispam].@tno.nl and cc eciffo.[antispam].@ncgg.info .

Publications of papers

A selection of papers will be published special issues of one or more peer reviewed international journals.

NCGG8 papers were published in Current Opinion on Environmental Sustainability, the Journal of Integrative Environmental Assessment and Greenhouse Gas Measurement and Management. For NCGG9 we aim a similar series of special issues. The invitation to prepare a paper for review and authors instructions will be sent to you upon acceptance by the Conference Committee.

Reduced fees for MSc and PhD students

We particularly welcome presentations by MSc and PhD students. PhD students pay a reduced fee to participate (50%). For MSc students we have a limited number of waivers. We encourage MSc students to also send in their abstracts; excellent student papers will be considered for oral presentations.

Stichting MilCon (Foundation for Environmental Congresses, a separate legal entity that is linked to VVM) is responsible for the logistic and financial management of NCGG9. The contents of the symposium is the responsibility of VVM and its co-organisers. Logistic services for NCGG9 will be provided by the VVM-bureau.
